Individual & Couples Therapy in Seattle

Helping individuals and couples understand the emotional patterns beneath conflict, disconnection, and feeling stuck so they can develop greater self-understanding, trust their own experience, and create meaningful change.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing you’re stuck.

It’s understanding why.

Many people come to therapy because they find themselves caught in the same painful patterns, whether repeating the same arguments with a partner, feeling disconnected from themselves or the people they love, or reacting in ways they don't fully understand.

Therapy offers a place to slow down and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we'll explore the emotional experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape your life so that change becomes possible—not through self-criticism, but through greater understanding, connection, and compassion.

Life can bring moments when we feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, a life transition, relationship challenges, or simply a sense that something feels out of alignment, therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and create meaningful change. I work with teens age 13+, individual adults, and couples.

A place to understand yourself with compassion

I believe our emotions, behaviors, and patterns make sense in the context of our experiences and relationships. Rather than seeing our struggles as something to simply eliminate, therapy offers an opportunity to become curious about what they are communicating and what they may be protecting.

Together, we will explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, develop greater awareness of your emotional world, and create new possibilities for growth and connection.

My approach is grounded in attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and relational therapy. I believe lasting change happens through a therapeutic relationship where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward the person you want to become.

Therapy for Individuals

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and challenges related to identity, relationships, and emotional well-being.

Therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with your own values and strengths.

Therapy for Couples

I work with couples who feel stuck in painful cycles of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding. Using an attachment-based approach, we will explore the patterns that keep you feeling disconnected and create opportunities for greater safety, understanding, and closeness.

Therapy for Teens (13+)

Adolescence is a time of significant growth, change, and self-discovery. I enjoy working with teens as they navigate emotions, relationships, identity development, academic and social pressures, and the challenges of becoming more fully themselves.

Therapy provides a space where teens can feel seen, understood, and supported while developing greater confidence in their own experiences.

My hope for therapy

I believe therapy is not about becoming someone different, but rather provides a framework for reconnecting with yourself.

My hope is that through our work together, you will develop a deeper understanding of yourself, greater trust in your own experience, and a stronger sense of connection to your relationships, your values, and the life you want to create.

Take the next step

Beginning therapy is a meaningful decision. If you are curious about whether we might be a good fit, I would be happy to connect for a consultation.
