About Caroline
A compassionate, relational approach to therapy
I believe therapy begins with a simple but powerful experience: feeling genuinely seen and understood.
Many of us spend years learning how to adapt; to meet expectations, care for others, manage difficult emotions, or move through life while carrying experiences that have shaped us. These adaptations often make sense in the context of our lives, but over time they can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, or the person we want to become.
My role as a therapist is to create a space where we can slow down, become curious about your experiences, and understand the patterns that have shaped you with compassion rather than judgment.
I believe our emotions carry wisdom. They tell us something about what matters to us, what we have experienced, and what we need. Through therapy, we can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, build trust in our own experiences, and create new ways of relating to ourselves and others.
I love this work. It is a privilege to be trusted with the most tender and vulnerable parts of people's lives—to be invited into someone's story and witness both the difficult seasons and the moments of growth, healing, and transformation along the way.
What has always drawn me to therapy is the power of being truly present with another person. I believe that meaningful change begins in a relationship where we feel seen, understood, and supported. My path to becoming a therapist grew from this belief and from years of exploring how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and the experiences that shape us.
My approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. My clinical work is grounded in attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and relational approaches to healing.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. While I bring clinical training and experience, you bring the expertise of your own life. Together, we will explore your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create space for growth and change.
My work with individuals, couples, and adolescents is guided by the belief that people are shaped by their relationships and experiences—and that healing happens through connection.
What you can expect from working with me
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and thoughtful. I strive to create a therapy space where you do not have to perform, have everything figured out, or minimize what you are experiencing.
At times, our work may involve sitting with difficult emotions that have been hard to access or express. At other times, it may involve recognizing your strengths, reconnecting with your values, and seeing yourself and your circumstances from a new perspective.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel supported in returning to yourself—with greater self-compassion, clarity, and trust in your own experience.
